Progress report


I have long felt that the game needs more dynamic lights to make it look more colorful. The explosive glowing plants added some color but I can't put them everywhere, so I need to add various types of light sources. Here's one:

The best part of these "trees" is that I got to implement a bending vertex animation that I have always wanted to try:

These are still going need fine-tuning and proper sounds but I like how they turned out. I'll have try if the bending/wobble animation could be used in the explosive plants too.

While preparing the last alpha update and actually playing full runs of the game, I found a lot of minor issues and things that need improving. I'll probably work on these next.
