Progress report
It's 2024! Happy new year everyone!
The last update was released just in time for submission to GDWC competition (The Game Development World Championship Winter 2023) with the deadline set at end of the year. Hopefully that leads to a tiny bit of added visibility. I'm not really expecting to win anything.
A good example of how blind you get to your own game that you look at all the time is when I just noticed that sentry guns don't have muzzle flashes at all. I first thought that it's a bug but it was actually never implemented until now.
One feature that has waited a long time on my task list is adding a confirmation on destroying a modifier. Play tests showed early on that a lot of people, especially new players, accidentally destroy modifiers. Now it requires two clicks. I'm not sure if this is the best way to fix this, so might have return to this later on..
Next up on my task list: Proper input device specific controller guides.
